![Today at church [KIBC - in Hong Kong] we went through Nehemiah 5 where we addressed the issue of complaining. Our Pastor mentioned 3 main points:
1. Consider the peoples concern
2. Choose your response
3. Confront the problem
This is just the outline of his sermon, I won’t expand on each point. What I wanted to share is that our Pastor mentioned that in Philippians 2:14-15 it says
“Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.” Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky”
And so our Pastor challenged us to get an empty jar and for a week, put a coin in it for every complaint we make so that we may see and hear each and every complain we make.
